Sleigh Ride

On the 18th, For my birthday (on the 17th) we went on a sleigh ride...this was our second year doing it! It was about a 45 minute horse drawn sleigh ride through the woods of this family owned farm. They had a barn that had cats, dogs, rabbits and of course horses, so my animal loving family fit in just perfectly! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the sleigh and the horses, but it was too dark, and my flash wasn't working right. But after the ride we had a little cabin all to ourselves to eat and make s'mores. Such fun! :)

They say the difference between BOYS and GIRLS....

...is the amount of trips to the Emergency Room..."they" just may be right! :)
Although none of these incidents led to an ER trip, boys are sure trouble makers! While Alex is doing back flips from anything he thinks he can land safely from, TJ is just constantly getting into EVERYTHING! His latest action was trying to play SpiderMan on the DVD rack - it didn't turn out too well.

What happens in our house around 2-3am...

At most homes, children are snug in their beds at this time of night...but not during the holidays at the Hasse household! Nope, it is not a rare sight to have Dad, Mom, Mema & Papa working on holiday card orders, and a kiddo or two "helping" us as we go!

Tender Mercies...

I love the way "tender mercies" have blessed my life. To find out what I mean about tender mercies, you can read a general conference talk here:
http://www.lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-520-33,00.html

Today, my good friend Sara just showed up at our door with dinner ready for my family. She knows how busy we are during the holiday season, and for her to take time out of her day and serve me, was just awesome. A tender mercy in its finest form...
