MUD meet!

This meet was CRAZY! Not only did they have Big Bertha (this huge hill the kids have to run up half way through the race) but it had been pouring this week, so there was a major mud mess on the course. Kids had to run right through it! :)

Straight No Chaser concert

Tonight was so awesome! I completely blew off studying and did something so much more important...I took Alex and his good friend Joey down to Milwaukee for a "Straight No Chaser" concert. These guys are AMAZINGLY talented! Check them out at http://www.sncmusic.com/

Another CC meet!

Today's meet was awesome! Alex kicked some major behind and took 1st place out of all the schools! I love this picture above, as the lead 4-wheeler was getting the crowd excited while pointing back at Alex and shouting "This is Alex everyone! Let's hear it for him!". He finished the almost 2 mile course in just over 12 minutes. Dang, that is fast!

An older photo

This is a photo taken over the summer, but a few months ago. Just wanted to take a quick moment and mention what an awesome hubby I have! He is such a great dad, and this summer he coached soccer for Natalie's team! :)

Camping...the last of summer

Our last "hurrah" of the summer before the craziness of school begins. We went to our favorite camping spot in Door County (Peninsula State Park) August 24th-26th.

First Day of School

Alex was so thoughtful and planned a "matching first day" for him and Mackenzie...doesn't she look just thrilled??? ;)

Alex is in 8th grade and Mackenzie is 7th this year.
Our little Natalie started full day Kindergarten this year. This is going to be tough (on Mom).
