Coolest thing ever. So our friends, the Ullmer's, raise beef cattle as a hobby. Well today I went to Roskom Meats in Freedom and picked us up a 1/4 cow!!! It was so neat! I called Roskom on Friday and told them how we wanted our 1/4 split up. I got rump roast, arm roast, shoulder roast, tenderloins, new york strips...lots of hamburger....and so much more! I even got to tell them how thick I wanted it cut, if I wanted the fat trimmed off and such. I am really turnin' into a country gal! Hmmmm...maybe I should look into gettin' us a couple cattle of our own... ;)
