I try and have the kids make dinner as much as possible. Mainly because I want them to learn, but also because I want them to know how hard it is...it really has helped with appreciation when it comes to dinner time! :)
Mackenzie learned how to work with little hands and feet right under her!
She also learned how hard it is to cook for a family of at least 7 (that is when we don't have extra people, which is rare!). You almost always have to double every recipe! :)
She made a very yummy and moist lemon cake and a great taco skillet!
